New management makes their own rules. It's no longer the park that we enjoyed for the 7 previous summers. It used to be a haven for families, sadly it's no longer that way. The beach wasn't raked, docks were missing, activities were non existent, the massage tent makes zero sense and ruins a favorite fishing spot and swamp area that is always full of kids. After being on a wait list for a seasonal site for the last 7 years, we were told that we are not on the list. No one has taken our concerns seriously.

Very clean campground, with a great beach and shallow water for a long way out for small children. I am hesitant to even post a 5-star review as I would like to keep this place my own little secret. We have 3 young kids and have visited 6 times in the past few years. Reasonable rates too.

A new massage tent is blocking a popular fishing hole for the kids and party boats are now allowed to park only feet off the shore, leaving oil slicks in the water. I'm not sure why they leased land in the park to the massage lady who yells at kids during day time hours. They aren't breaking any park rules and she's blocking the fishing hole. She even yells at paddlers who go up the creek behind her massage tent. A creek that is advertised on the campground website. Prior to this year the park would have received a 5 star rating. It's no longer a family campground.
